The difference now is that costs for airliners have gone through the roof which will severely impact profitability. And no, they will not fix all of that through price increases. Factor in that a lot of people are struggling with expenses given high costs of living, they are more likely to put off vacations just to live. Lower profits = lower stock multiple and lower share price.....It will take years for Airliners to survive the damage from covid

What will happen, when all of a sudden, travel becomes less complicated, just like it used to be before? What will happen with all this pent up demand? People that haven't seen loved ones for a couple of years because it was just a hassle to travel.
