RE:RE:being with Telus 30 yrs ,garbage customer service hey sarge, i've switched between telus and shaw a few times when the 2 year contracts run out. telus has a way better pvr than shaw so i prefer telus. a few years ago i got upgraded to fiber optik and it's great.
as for that f*cking bce, i own lots of shares but i hate bell for buying up local radio stations and giving us programming from toronto. one local sports station got wiped out and the local bloomberg station cancelled coast to coast am.
i hope the abilitiy to negotiate cheap packages continues when rogers takes over shaw.

We've has some issues with the internet since we switched to high speed in 2011. Telus has worked incredibly hard on it, replacing components, digging up the alley to fix the line, etc. They recently acually called us to say they've notcied pixalation and pause problems with our Optik TV and then came in and gave us a new modem and digital boxes. (left the PVR as is).
That sounds like really proactive support to me and from wjat I've heard, you'd never get that from any of the other telcos.
From the invesmtent side, we own a full position in BCE and T and I do much prefer BCE from that point of view.
