Another good outcome today

Another good outcome todayThe day after his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who said he was ready for "compromises", French President Emmanuel Macron went to Kiev on Tuesday, February 8, where he met his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky . At the end of these meetings, Mr. Macron declared that there was “now the possibility of advancing the negotiations” for peace between Russia and Ukraine. He also expressed optimism about the possibility of finding “practical concrete solutions” to achieve de-escalation. President Putin “told me that he would not cause an escalation. I think it matters,” he explained.
