If you refer back to our release of November 4th, we have been working on a very extensive QAQC review that we anticipate to be completed here in early February. Until a resolution to our QAQC resolution is reported, the bulk of holes that we have assayed for half-core can not be released. The limited holes that we are able to release are mainly those assayed in the meantime with whole core, either via Chrysos or traditional fire assay methods. Once the QAQC resolution is released, we should be able to release a significant backlog and then can expect normal assaying moving forward. Chrysos did provide us results for one hole so far in Perth. We did not intend to use this as a long term solution as shipping core to Perth is not feasible on large scale. The 20,000 samples you are referring to is the new machine being installed in Canada. However, that is not operational yet. Regarding ramp up of results, that will be based around the QAQC resolution being published and a return to normal for us. We anticipate that very shortly.
So are you saying that, since the problem was identified on November 4, these are all the cores that have come back with assay results? Find that hard to believe.....
Also, we live in an age of telephones, fax machines, secure Internet connections, etc. One would think that as soon as assay results on those Australian cores were produced, NFG would receive such results in minutes. One core from Perth? How many did NFG ship over there? Are the Australians allowing entry of only one core at a time every 2-3 weeks? Again, not believeable in my opinion unless NFG is not releasing the majority of assay results they have received since they resumed reporting them.
Again, just so people understand, I am not blaming the labs for the slow assay results - I am just questioning what percentage of assay results NFG has already received since they resumed reporting such results are actually being released publicly via press release....?
