RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Fair value of DSV is CAD 28.74 as per SimplyWallStHey Money K,
I really recommend you check out this interview with Taj a couple weeks ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPLrVyqwY8s). Some hilights for me are how massive this project is (compared with producers like First Quantum) and like Shaft, its only a fraction of the property. The possibilities in exploration and the leverage that exists with higher silver prices is exponential for this resource.
Development is easy and cheap (open pit mine, road and power bordering property, mining friendly province etc). As far as macro goes, I think it is very fair to say silver is undervalued, especially real silver, not paper. Try buying an ounce of actual silver on ebay - that to me gives you a more accurate price and what it is actually worth....this paper mirage has to end at some point.
I, like you, think Shaft Creek is a great property with tons of potential....and Im also bullish on Copper. I really got into DSV (then Levon) when it dropped down to 0.20 and yet had 40 mil in the bank. Their SP was equal to their cash position....it was a no brainer. I sold some CUU at the same time (also worth $0.20/sh) and I only wish I swapped all my cuu for LVN (DSV). I still own CUU and am optimistic Ill be rewarded at some point, but other than my warrants, I sold my poisiton and added to my DSV position....both have great properties, but DSV has a few things CUU doesnt:
1 - Cash. 70 mil in the bank, means no dilution and the ammo to execute their plan....even to production
2 - Promotion. They are visible, and are 25% owned by Eric Sprott, who isn't afraid to mention the property from time to time.
3 - Own Cordero 100%. No starving out the jr in this situation, no dog and tail scenarios. They do what they want to do and don't need to play games with a major like CUU does.
4 - And of course, the biggest thing for me is the managament team that is aggressive, accurate and motivated. Taj does what he says, has a plan, and executes. When he says a PEA will be done by 4th quarter, it gets done on time or earlier than expected. CUU...well, I need not refresh you on timelines or plans being executed (2014 monetize plan...hows that going?). We are always in limbo with cuu, no idea what is being done, and most of us get more accurate info on these boards then from calling the office. Taj has a plan for a production decision in about a year and a half, and I have confidence thats exactly how long it will take.
Lastly, where has CUU taken us over the last decade....those $0.20 shares are $0.26, where as these are floating around a 10 bagger with tons of upside ahead.
Anyways, all the best, do your own DD and make the calls you need to make
Cheers
