Nobody got in touch with me about a private placement this time around although I did get invited in a long time ago when Jeff was raising money.
I'm in better shape now than I was the first time around and even thought about picking up another 100k shares down here because we are at the corner of do or die. The only way I see this dying is if progress stops and even then we are probably worth more for the bricks and mortar, IP and recipes than we are currently getting for our shareprice.
Keep in mind that all of that dreaming is becoming a reality as Tinley is moving towards delivering on the things they said were happening.
If the IP and recipes of our own products fails we still have a state of the art thc bottling facility that I would support should be in demand as our new vice moves forward to take a bite out of big alcohol.
Tinley is standing in rare company in California with a whole passel of competition moving along at the speed of approval to do the same vice beverage business in California and the rest of the world. Most of the soft booze bottlers see the writing on the wall and are positioning to be a part of it rather than looking in from the outside. Of course, I'm talking about Canopy, Hexo Molson Coors, Heinekin and probably a bunch I have forgotten about. Then we have BEV, MLCL, JSDA and a bunch of others that I can't remember right now that are going to school on Tinley so they can run their own show.
Lots of support for a new vice from everybody but law and policy makers who are draggin' anchor to give time for the good old Alcohol producers to change course and get a toehold in the cannabinoid biz.
When cannbinoid beverage formulators get a level playing field with Beverage Alcohol and can use the same venues, bars and lounges alongside Beverage Alcohol, consumers will choose cannbinoid infused beverages for rec and health reasons as a smarter choice for all of the overfed consumers flirting with diabetes and overweight or them that are treating their aches and pains with oxy and such.
If the US politicians just got off their duffs and did the work that the voters approve to get the new vice going, it will quickly cannibalize marketshare of alcohol and the smart money is choosing to be a part of this rather than outside looking in.
