The top-10 partner funded the clinical trial so it makes sense that this partner is the preferred when it comes down to a deal.

But in order to put some pressure to get a decent deal one should make sure to talk with other parties and if it goes south with the first one you have other options already established.

I think that the others ones in line will put up indicative offers, but partly blind for the clinical trial results because the top-10 will not disclose the details.
