True Cost of Nuclear Power

True Cost of Nuclear Power- No need to do a detailed analysis vs gas fired power.

- Just look at a few overhead pictures

- Does this look like a mean (as in economical) operation?

- A comparable very large gas fired plant (in terms of output) would be an order of a magnitude
smaller in terms of parking lot size and true operating costs.

- You can find the extra costs of nuclear power on your electricity bill under "debt retirement"
or your governments "other" line item - often tens of billions of dollars.

Nice folk work in these places though. I have a chance to do a bit few weeks work at a OPG
office - they made sure I was well fed every lunch hour - along with themselves - at your expense.
Most generous people I ever run into this regard.

Just try to avoid living near one of the things as you will have to keep a supply of iodine
in your medicine cabinent  - and an escape plan - just in case.
