The SEDI interface has never been updated since I've been using it.  It is awkward and while it can be useful, it is rarely (ever) complete.  Sadly it's just another poor effort at corporate governance in Canada.  

I once caught a late night posting of a large insider sale just before an expected report on an off-shore wildcat well.  I sold everything in the morning.  A few days later the well was announced as a dud.  The person in question was eventually drummed out of the industry, but was never held to account by the regulators.
