New Found Gold Corp. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and evaluation of resource properties with a focus on gold properties located in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The Company holds a 100% interest in the Queensway Project, which comprises an approximately 1,662 square kilometers area, located about 15 kilometers (km) west of Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, and just 18 km from Gander International Airport. The Queensway Project is divided by Gander Lake into Queensway North and Queensway South. The Company also owns a 100% interest in the Kingsway property, which consists of 264 claims on three licenses covering approximately 77 square kilometers. The project is located approximately 18km northwest of the town of Gander, Newfoundland. The Company is undertaking a 650,000-meter drill program on Queensway. It has royalty interests underlying Keats South and several additional zones in Queensway.

@Framed I look at all the facts (assays) and all the competition and I just don't see us going anywhere but up. I do understand the trepidation though. I think the whole assay scandal or whatever you want to label it as is a bit overhyped. JMHO

@PNUT Wow @northstars, you actually gave me some credit, I should be honored. :) When I first posted that this assays issue might drag on for 7 weeks or longer I got jumped on. Well, lo and behold, longer then that. This needs to be over, would be well above $10 if it were not for it, imho.

@stocklor @guydel, the new Palisades want zero to do with $SIC. Waaaaay to busy with $NFG, they couldn't care less about $SIC, they don't need $SIC. On the other hand, ES owns well over 30%, and is a much better candidate. ES isn't a billionaire because he lets primo plays slide, he wants it all. jmo,

@GDT555 @Framed I am with you. The "assay scandal" actually showed me that transparency and accuracy at the upper levels of $NFG matter. I can wait as long as it takes for the outcome because it will show some inconsistency in half core analysis at worst, in my humble opinion. Overall, it shows me they wanted to front run some inconsistencies and got in front of it. Increased my trust of their integrity and I have increased my position as a result in this downturn.

@Framed @GDT555 Right, if they had shitty assays of a couple of grams per tonne I'd be more concerned but when they're turning out bonanza grade holes why soil yourself over a half gram or a gram per half core.
