If they do increase dividend that may put some life in the stock. The volume of shares traded is low and that isn't because of anything else other than it is a Canadian stock and that people are VERY RELUCTANT to sell their shares.

Insiders are buying all the time. Why isn't the share price $30??

Considering the 5 year average dividend yeild is 8.3% and we are currently trading in the 7.6% area, we are more towards the idea of overvalued in my opinion (if an increase is announced that idea would be altered). I was getting interested in making a purchase in mid 17s which I still thought was a bit much on the pre-earnings pricing, but I was looking forward as management has been pretty good to me and when the illude to larger return potential, I believe them.

I hope the $30 question was sarcasm, because that's a pretty wild statement/target. Looking at the whole sector (which isn't big), MKP already is in middle of a relatively tight road on payouts when it's usually the leader or close to it.

I was starting to look at putting a offer in BRE which I should have made a move on in early January but I didn't have funds avalible. I'm constantly conflicted between these 2 when they are yielding more than 8%... I'm still in FC, but going to exit soon hoping to get $15 or more when I pull the trigger.
