The Work Never Stopped Over All These Years At Sangdong.
Nothing to do with last few posts :-)
I have always had faith in Lewis.
A genius in all aspects of mining, logistics, bank deals, Govt. deals (power/water/KIGAM), comunity support, off-take deals, equipment supply deals, and so on for many more acheivements involved in this project.
Patience , determination and certainty seems to be his forte.
A hard worker that some have had doubts about in the past.
OHH how wrong you were.
It is very easy to sit on your backside in a chair and do stock trades at the push of a button while a CEO strives to build and expand a company.
It takes mammoth effort to contiue to run the existing mines, then start Sangdong, while at the same time continue to work on develpement for the Valtreixal project.
Lazy sit down whingers have no right to complain or criticize.
You can be a critic, but have you ever picked up a shovel and dug a hole in your life ?
Have you ever worked on a mine site ?
Have you ever sat down with Govt. officials and big bank bosses to discuss such deals ?
I have for the first three.
The work never stopped at Sangdong.

"We are currently approximately 15% through total construction of Sangdong and now, with drawdown of the KfW loan, the Company can accelerate construction towards commissioning which is on track for Q4 CY 2022. Our underground development is over 27% complete and is already 6 months ahead of schedule. I am immensely pleased that we decided at Almonty to secure and fix pricing last year on much of the equipment on order which has shielded us from more recent inflationary equipment price rises.”
