RE:A poll When the science advisory table for Ontario is outlining how to better sample using rapid antigen tests (within the last 24 hours) ....the answer to your question is unequivocally, NO. Suggesting the swabbing of the cheeks and throat to more accurately sample for the Omicron variant indicates just how game changing AcuVid could be. It is now being quite clearly demonstrated that nasal swabs may no longer be the most accurate sample for covid. With approval AcuVid could be at the front of the pack instead of trailing from behind ....Jmho.
Combine that with an understanding that many companies and large institutions can ill afford to have large numbers of staff away, testing at a significant level could continue for at least the rest of 2022. We haven't even experienced a winter season with a full opening where all of the common cold, the flu and covid are circulating as they typically would ....at the same time.
GLTE ....this isn't even close to being over yet!!!
