I would much rather the Clerk offer the buyer of a competing brand a full pack of TAAT at a discount price let's say $2.99. This will give the smoker time to get used to the taste of TAAT and maybe include a discount coupon for their next pack as an added incentive to continue smoking it. Now if he refuses this deal then the Clerk can offer them the 2 pack as a trial. To me this would reduce all kinds of tracking efforts on THAT'S part and get a pack of TAAT IN their hand.
Much like the My Pillow Guy letting you try his pillow for 1 month. What are the chances of someone returning it? It would also give TAAT management a Picture of how well the incentive is working if it's deployed in select areas where TAAT is readily available and Billboards and Counter advertising is already in place. Just my Opinion.
...all good points GG......but my take on it is this.....if two thirds of smokers want to quit and are introduced to TAAT and the possibility to leave nicotine and tobacco behind.....the psychology behind it might be incentive enough after trying TAAT twos to purchase a full pack.....believing that TAAT just might be a better option.....
