08:26 AM EST, 02/14/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Copper Mountain Mining Corp. (CMMC.TO) on Monday reported fourth-quarter 2021 adjusted net earnings of $0.11 per share, rising from $0.03 per share a year ago.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected Copper Mountain's adjusted EPS at $0.12.
Revenue increased to $136.8 million from $106.1 million, beating the revenue forecast of $118.3 million. The company attributed the improvement to higher copper prices and higher copper and silver sales.
The Copper Mountain mine produced 16.7 million pounds of copper during the period, down year over year from 23.1 million pounds of copper due to lower grade and reduced mill throughput.
The company expects to produce 80 million to 90 million pounds of copper in 2022.
