Anyway I'll tell you one thing more that could have been done - Instead of blowing all that money on CERB and creating a whole cohort of people unwilling to go back to work cuz the gov't is paying themto sit on their asses and play video games, we could have spent $82 BILLION on our health care system to build capacity and hire staff.
Now do you suppose with some of the restrictions we had in place (masks, distancing and capacity limits) and a well funded, full staffed health care system we could have done the testing and isolating you advise? And just maybe the health care system wouldn't have been in danger of collapse (which has always been the reason behind the restrictions and vaccination campaign).
I mean how many hospitals and covid wards can you build and staff for $82 BILLION????
I guess that was a little too subtle a solution for sock boy and his merry band of spend thrift idiots.
