This is in context only to the EMA and states:

" Crowdfunding platforms and cryptocurrency platforms will now have to report any suspicious or large transactions to authorities, as banks currently have to."  

Something had to be put in place to get our country back to the normal flow of commerce between the borders.  Our free trade agreements are largely based on unimpeded access and rocking that boat could get us into deeper water.  The last thing we need in Canada is obstructionists bent on creating havoc in our industries, including our cannabis industry (of course, dependent on legalisation state side, whenever that may be).
