RE:RE:RE:Some additional thoughts."all I know is that everyone involved in the financing including management is confident the share price of ascot will increase greatly from here."
Yes, I somewhat agree AOT will increase; except for the word GREATLY. Is $2 greatly? Those involved in the financing know more than any of us. Oh except for SonofCroy who knows everyone involved.
Chart looks great too! Say what!!! Are you serious?? That statement takes the cake. I give some weight to charting when it comes to producers and the price of the Commodity, but very little. Especially to a junior that is in the development stage with continuing exploration. And give it zero weight after they have issued ..... what an additional 140 million shares in the last year. In the case of AOT the chart means F-ALL! You're allowed to be optimistic but you should strive not to look stupid.
I agree with Molly4 that it most likely is the best route to go. What really p!sses me off is the continued dilution at this price. More drilling and underground drilling should have been done to hopefully have positive results; resulting in higher share price and then do a financing with less shares. Why now? We have a lot of cash in the bank. Maybe Derek could address many questions with a call in by shareholders.
Those involved in this financing know a hell of a lot more than the average shareholder; I can guarantee that.
Mustlovedogs wrote: So the "clarifier" falling off the ship isn't worthy of a trading halt, but a financing is? Really? Why? Is this financing punctuated with a trading halt to underscore its brilliance or stupidity? This is a very true statement and again I'll say that clariier PR reeked and hurt a lot of shareholders.
Another BOTTOM_BASEMENT financing for the priviledged ones that are "IN-THE-KNOW".
I could care less that the insiders are putting in $500,000. If 5 are involved and they are putting in $100,000 each then BIG DEAL. 10 involved at $50,000 each again BIG DEAL. It says a hell of a lot that none of them ever bought shares out of the market over the last.....what?.....5 years....EVER?
We will be at 500,000,000 million shares outstanding when all options, warrants and whatever else has been granted and exercised. Maybe we get bought out around $2.50\share. I don't know. Will this be a buyout with a market cap of $1,250,000,000. $1.25 BILLION???
When I first got involved I was really hoping for $5. Trusted what was told to me that there would be very little future dilution spoken by Derek in Calgary approximately 2 years ago. At least that is what was understood apparently. I wasn't there. That turned into a huge lie if that is what he said. Was supposed to be more along the lines of a 'Gold Loan' or straight debt or a combo of all 3.
Now watch for more insider options being approved in the near future. Guaranteed. You know why? Because management has done a fantastic job.
Will sit and wait for assays in July 2022. Fingers crossed.
I watched the opening and bought 20,000 shares at $1.02 and $1.03. I could tell the market will hold above that. I will sell them today ( or soon ) at $1.06 - $1.08 and make a quick grand. Best of luck. Hope for HUGE ASSAYS.
