MyHealth operates diagnostic imaging and cardiology clinics. these are licensed by Provinces which creates monopolies. medical clinics like this also have far more stable and recurring revenues when compared to dental offices.
re: growth - MyHealth has completed over 20 acquisitions and has grown the recurring revenue in these businesses substantially (believe it was 30%+) by consolidating plus adding new services to said clinics.

Ok, fair enough. When it comes to diagnostics, I could see equipment and certifications/licensing as obstacles but not ones that are not overcome if someone has the capital. I was thinking more along the lines of your comment "
WELL is now the largest owner of outpatient medical clinics in Canada - not sure if you're aware of that" hence my clinic comments.
