RE:RE:now what ?I personally do not get attached to the story and often utilize a stop loss and pre-set buy/sell limits. However a good story can drive SP significantly without and substantial substance behind it and take advantage of the opportunity when it is presented. I am not financially heavy in my own investing and consider anything I invest as immediately lost once invested – my version of the VLT’s with the benefit of knowing the payout ratio will likely be much higher. I know others that are much more serious in their trading mythology and their returns are most likely better but I’m knda lazy in that respect. FWIW – if I can gain 15% year over year I am very content as I have had some years that have been negative to the tune of 40%....a real bummer man!
Management also plays a large part with investing decisions – what the past success rate of the individuals else where as most Juniors typically do not have any revenue to make solid assumptions. As mentioned above hype helps as a good story is an excellent sales tool but one has to be careful as not to drink the kool-aid and fall in love with the stock. Do not look back with disappointment when missteps are made but rather try to avoid repeating if possible.
As for RHC there seems to be an abundance of retail holders that are long providing decent trading volume most days which helps provide decent swings in the price as well as bidders to sell into. The swings have not been as frequent as I would have liked for the past 6 months or so and it will take patients to find a good selling point once again or then again if something I feel may provide a quicker return I will not hesitate to take a loss to reallocate funding. With this one I have recovered my initial investment and more which makes up for the duds that lost significant value when I did not set up stop loss or misread the market.
