RE:Vertex and Witkowski PartnershipI see nothing that I would find unusual here.
Dr. Witkowski has been reporting on his website that he is very interested in carrying out transplant into the portal vein and he has commented that being unable to do so in the USA was something he was very much disturbed by.
He seems to have been successful in getting permission to do what I will call the "Edmonton protocol" or the long available Portal vein since it is very similar to what I have read of it. That Vertex was able to get permission to use stem cells to do a trial is very good news for sufferers. I also note that there is quite a bit said about drugs required and I also wonder if there are rejection worries. In any case we SVA have the pouch with a stable home for Cells to be placed into where they can survice happily.
I think it will light a fire under whoever SVA is working with to get permission for either their Conformal coating or some stem cell derived non immune attack subject cells. I find the time that has passed to be very long since we saw the first successful report in January of 2021
The whole thing as I see it is that the medical profession wants desperately to enter cells into humans to see if they work properly once placed and that the FDA approves whatever is the successful method.
I still see the Pouch system having immense benefits in providing a home for the cells and I believe SVA will be seen to have the best system - At least I hope so as well for my investment
