$1.60 was a reasonable bid for BTR. They are going nowhere : sub-par management, mediocre resource, mid-level mill.

$1.75 would get the deal done asap, albeit at a rich premium. Too rich for John's taste, I believe. Let BTR suffer a bit more, then circle back with a $1.65 bid.
