If I remember correctly, it will produce 168 MW of power, enough to sustain operations at phases 3-5 plus the smelter. Since we are paying for refurbishment, not only we won't be affected but certain aspects of diesel and other fuel prices but also will enjoy a reduced cost for the power we are getting. I have no idea what the detailed agreement is, but I am sure that investing money into Inga V will ensure reduced power costs for many years to come. Does anyone know what the actual deal is? I am certain it is beneficial.
