Across the mouth of the Corentyne River and across the ancient infilled Berbice Canyon we have the North Corentyne Block the challenge here is to find how/why the trend line breaks in the west (CGX) compared to Block 58 ..in my opinion along the flank of the Berbice Canyon up to Eagle the AVO anomalies DHIs etc in the Santonian to Turonian would be valid ...the westward flow/accumulation of sediments in that area would have been in a more dynamic setting compared to Block 58 ..so expect CGX to have to drill deeper wells ..proper interpretation and tie back of well logs to seismic data will show the way..
