Many thanks, Countrygent! I completley agree that humanity and enlightment are ice that is way too thin ... and also about copper and china. And, yes, the financial and economic outfall will be huge and global.. But it is way to early to judge about that.

Though gold will profit, I hate to profit from war. That is not my kind of interest.

It is not that I am better suited to know or imagine how people in Ukrania feel. But I do know that Ukrania has a bigger population than Canada, it is 44 millon. Putin denied them their sovereignity and threated them with a full war, which did not start this week, but 2014 and, so far, 14.000 have been killed.
