I would not be surprised if there is a increase to the payout as the KL payout cash is now consumed and can be added to the AEM payouts. I'd say odds are 50% we see that in this announcement and if not the odds rise for it to be next quarter. No one has really talked about that yet and I'm not sure what those numbers would look like, but if they did do it today I'm sure it would be modest maybe 5-10% increase. That was a 2nd factor in my recent purchases, I wanted to be in before the merger and before an expected increase which should continue to propell shareprice upwards.

Well I crushed that prediction and even came in low on the increase expectation.

I was getting concerned cause I tried to replicate the numbers I ran when I made my buy decision (I must of threw out the sheet I did my orginal calculations), I was trying to show my work when the group was discussing the dividends and my new calculations were coming up way shorter that before, I was getting frustrated that I didn't know why my new numbers were showing a new expected payout of just under 36 cents rather than a little over 38 cents I was gettting before. I thought maybe I made a mis-calculation when I decided on the purchase.

Agnico holders technically just get 14% increase being 5 cents to 40, but I think I figured out Kirkland shareholders got the equivalent to a 5 cent gain just on the merge + now the new 5 cents, so you guys technically get about a 30% increase in payouts if my numbers were correct!

The future sounds pretty strong for the company, I only scanned through the base notes and I think I seen they expect 2023-2024 production to stay flat with expectations this year, but thier gains will be on the improvement in synergies (which rarely are as good stated) and improvment in mine costs/efficiency/grades, if I understood correctly. I also feel long term gold should sit around 2000.

I think the path will take us above $100/share by year end as it seems like we have size and momentum.

I'll be very interested to hear more seasoned people gig deeper into the earnings and point out interesting notes.
