RE:IHS model of Venus

RE:IHS model of VenusHi LG19, I think their valuation model is way out. First of all it is based on just over billion barrels recoverable. The initial estimate for Venus was 1.5bill from 65meters net pay and so far initial result is 84 mtrs some 30% larger. Then we have to take into account the actual size of net pay ie larger the size more probable their mapping is correct on size of prospect field ( 600km sq ) whereas previously they would have been super conservative in estimates given. How large is the structure, its hard to say, almost impossible as they will be refining the mapping the real sands extent now but if you consider the model they would have used reducing the pay zone as it pinches out on slope now they will be looking at far larger area as being potentially commercial to produce from. Say that area is 100 or 200km sq as commercial area then it gets absolutely silly figures and way way beyond Elephant even at. Over here industry are already talking of 4-5bill field size then still have rest of license to consider. Here have a play with this https://www.azcalculator.com/calc/STOIIP-stock-tank-oil-initially-in-place.php. Use normal sandstone at 15-30%, water sat 10-30% and oil FVF 1.05-1.2
