Clearly its a matter of buying out Sernova for Vertex or any other big pharma with iPSC to corner the market.

"In multiple collaborations with global pharmaceutical partners, we have demonstrated long-term insulin independence using advanced stem cell-derived diabetes technologies in the Cell Pouch in accepted animal models of type 1 diabetes (T1D). This work supports the concept that the Cell Pouch, in combination with an advanced stem cell source designed to provide an unlimited supply of therapeutic cells, could provide a solution for millions of people with T1D."

Red,

I agree with you in principle. It will call come down to IPSC .... if management can secure an agreeement to source unlimited highly efficaous IPSC , it will be a significant achievement . That followed by elimination of immunosuppresion via conformal coating.  Lots of things to align before this all happens . Does Vertex jump the gun and buy out Sva .... it is a strong possibility . The other possibility is that the pharma deal will involve a possible "buy in" as the terms of deal.

We just don't know anything yet.  But whatever it is , it will be significant or a complete disappointment if management does not follow through .

Sp bouncing back and trading in this range seems to indicate market anticipation.
