Too much going on here with all the drills turning , 14 soon .
Cheers
Lots of movement in the drills the past few days. They are moving them around a lot here lately. Everything is frozen solid now since the last mild and it will be cold for awhile so at the moment the drills are on the move taking advantage of the frozen ground and very little snow which is rare for this time of year. Normally we would have 3 or 4 feet of snow on the ground by March but there is hardly any snow in the woods. The least I have ever witnessed. It appears that they are drilling out along the far extensions of all 3 zones. I can say with certainty that the surface footprint is getting rather large on all 3 main zones with drills on all of them drilling away along the furthest extensions on all zones.
Of particular interest to ike as he always thought the big pot of gold was under the Trans Canada Highway. Well we may soon find out within months if that is the case. As I write this post there are drills on the move on both sides of the highway. Very very close to the highway on both sides. Two drills on the Keats side of the highway (between the Keats and the highway) and one drill being set up on the Gander Lake side of the highway. These drills are that close to the highway that you could almost hit them with a snowball. Well maybe not a snowball but they are definitely within 500 feet. Perhaps the boys found another Hemlo under the highway. You never know.
Also the drills on the Golden Joint and Lotto are moving outwards at a rapid rate heading east away from the fault. I was very surprised at just how far out the step out drilling is getting. You can easily see that they are getting a better understanding of the orientation of the gold zones as they are getting more aggressive with the step out drilling. A couple drills were way off out in the trees perhaps 700 to 1000 meters or more east of the Appleton Fault so I'm not sure if it was step out drilling or new targets. If they think it is extensions of known zones well all I can say is WOW!!! They are getting very aggressive with the drilling.
Also a drill over near the Cokes Zone (perhaps just north) on the other side of the fault. I still only see 9 drills in total (one on the JBP Fault) out there but there could be one or two hidden away somewhere. Perhaps on the Queensway South property. I don't know. Everyone says they aren't down there yet but who are they? I wish I could have got down there but the weather was too crazy the last few weeks. Freeze and thaw all winter but now things look nice and cold for the next week. Today would have been the day but there isn't enough time in the day.
Lots of activity out there for sure. Looks like they are increasing the size of the core yard yet again. It will be 3 or 4 times its original size about a year ago. It is growing fast and the NFG GigaShack in Gander is going up fast. The walls are completed so the roof truss will be going up soon. It is a large building. Sh*t is happening on the ground guys so it will have to translate into more value if the the results continue to be positive. The trend is higher so I think the worse is behind us for the stock. Crazy last couple of days with the conflict in the Ukraine. Anyways I feel much better about my NFG investment than I did a week ago. Although it looks like it's going to be two steps forward and one step backwards for us going forward. Enjoy your weekend.
