I agree that capping fossil fuels has come with unforseen consequences just as burning them has. Whether capping  fossil fuels has been ill conceived or just plain poorly exexcuted is debatable but blaming it on Putin's aggression is exploitling the anthropogenic climate change issue in the worst possible way.

It is adding value to VET though.  So there is that.
