RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right…I just read the entire thing over again.
The debate stared and was predominately about share price decline.
- To cut through the fat, you stated you can’t lose more that 100% of your invested dollars. Bagcheese agreed but said he wasn’t stating invested dollars but share price. Whihc bagcheese was correct.
- Bagcheese said he was speaking about a drop in share price alone, which it true he did state that.
- Bagcheese displayed with rough math how a share price can indeed drop to the point it has to be measured using percentile past the decimal to the hundredths and thousandths and because he was using more than one investment using statistical language as percentile was accurate.
- Even after Bagcheese clarified the point, with math and context, you still kept reverting back to losing more money than invested was impossible.
- Bagcheese then used a variety of ways to display the point with math, even if some was slightly off his argument was correct and likely wasn’t using a calculator
- This is where you lost respect as I would strong assume you or anyone would’ve seen bagcheese’s math and clear explanation as being correct and not about losing money lost but instead a share price decline and you kept pounding the table stating you can’t lose more money than you invest, which bag cheese even agreed.
- I also have been wondering although percentile is used in stats he was making essentially making reference to a group of share price declines. Which made me wonder becasue he was speaking on a percent of a percent right of decimal (-) or fractional expression, what would he use besides the word 'percentile'?
- If there was one of bagcheese math equations that the answer was incorrect, the equations were correct and the points he made on the math were all correctly stated. Given that, I don’t really know where you want to take this. BAgcheese hasn't been proven wrong.
The argument, context and central point by bagcheese was all correct. If I’m missing something, I apologize, I don’t take anything you say personally, please don’t take anything I say personally. I’ve followed this long enough but please feel free to state that any of the above is incorrect.
