How much capex would they pay with our 25%? Thats right... nothing!

Obviously you are posting wrong and misleading info.  If I go to a dealership to buy a car and the dealer tells me I don't have to put anything down and don't have to pay for 3 months does that mean the car is free and I still pay nothing?   No I still have to pay for it later.  Cash flow will come out from my pockets at a later date Duh.  Any 5th grader understands this MK.  What's the difference if Teck finances it all but later requires its JV partner to pay for it later out of revenues?

If another Major like Newmont comes out to buy the 25% of SC and decides they will finance it without Teck it still amounts to the same thing for them.  There is no advantage in the JV agreement that accrues to the JV partner if the other partner is well capitalized and doesn't need Teck to help finance.  Newmont or another Major will already have good credit that gives them ability to finance at favourabe rates therefore a Major that acquires 25% of SC will not add extra value to the acquisition based on this JV agreement.

You either don't understand finance or you are intentionally misleading in your statements.  Or you don't know what the h"""ll you are talking about MK.
