The San Andres Mine is an open-pit heap leach gold mine.

The majority of the mining in Honduras is artisanal. There 80000 Hondurans that would be directly affected. The ban also includes stones and sand for construction. They are going to import sand and stones?? Okay. IMO this entire thing seems to be done strictly for impressions. They were elected on this platform so they have to do something.
