RE:RE:Bank of Canada raises interest rates since 2018there is nothing new about rate increases and decreases throughout the history of Canada. I was already calling for rate increase last year for 2022. If it wasn't for the Russian invasion of Ukraine, rates would have increased by 0.50 today. 

Inflation is already at highs and continues to increase. Perhaps inflation will cool it bit. 1.25% rate by end of 2022 is in the cards. 

It's not sustainable for Canada to stay at 0.25% for multiple years.
