There is a shortage of refined zinc mainly because of stupid European energy decisions leading to high power rates (and lack of power) to refine zinc concentrate. Many European zinc smelters have shut down, but the mines are producing and the concentrate is piling up.
It is good that there is a shortage of refined zinc, so the price of zinc would rise much more.
As for the cc of zinc, there would be no shortage, and the TC would rise.
Zinc prices rise more than TC.
They speak of TC of 400/MT, or 0.18 /lb., and zinc of 2.50.
