My hopeful spin:

Gallo was brought on to lead retail sales efforts for Biocloud while Ghezzi continued his deep state government contract quest. And now Gallo isn't needed. Pure speculation. Could be any number of things but hey, we finally got a sign of life (even if it is just flatulence)
