Please Folks, Look at the BIG Picture

Please Folks, Look at the BIG Picture
Was WTI UP or DOWN today?

Are you sure?

Too many short term investors rely on the WTI number they see online or on TV.  Is it really what the oil industry uses?

Today (at 4:50 pm) spot WTI was down US$ 2.45 to US$ 108.15

Now, most producers CANNOT ship their annual supply today, can they?  The annual production will be delivered during the year.

To better understand their eventual revenues, take a serious look at the future market.

June 2022 was down US$ 1.34 to US$ 101.03

Sept 2022 was down US$ 0.14 ro US$ 91.13

Dec 2022 was up US$  0.66 to US$ 87.97

Mar 2023 was up US$ 0.65 to US$ 85.18 (light volume)

LINK to future prices

Do not worry too much about daily or weekly spot price fluctuations.  Look at the big picture.  WCP will do just fine.

Shares will be repurchased out of surplus cash flow and dividend will be increased on the smaller number of shares.

Patience will be rewarded.
