RE:RE:Where are the answers from Oct. 2021 questions?Indeed, Eric has certainly made it very clear that there are no outstanding questions from comex at this time. Reading between the lines, it sounds like they certainly do not expect any more questions from comex. However, I doubt that comex has already made its recommendation given that they last updated their decisions register on February 7 and have not met since then. The last update of the decisions register does not indicate having made a recommendation on CRE. That said, it certainly is possible that they could have sent their recommendation to the administrator since then but I think, let me rephrase... I hope, they will make their recommendation at their March 22 meeting if they have not already.
It really does seem to me that management is confident that they will get their provincial permits and reasonably soon. Given that they have said it so often. Eric, being the company poster boy of late, is really putting his reputation on the line by restating over and over his confidence in receiving the permit. I also suspect that if comex were leaning toward a negative recommendation, they would have done so long ago. The fact that they are asking so many questions and making so many demands on the company seems to indicate that they want the project to proceed. Why else would they drag this process out so long, it would be rather cruel not to grant the company its permits at this stage. Not granting the permit would also send a very negative message to other potential minors in the James Bay area and would likely reduce the amount of investment in the area. Quebec prides itself on being a very mining friendly jurisdiction , but this process has not been terribly friendly to the company. I certainly appreciate the importance of making sure that all environmental and social matters are seen to, however it has been over a year since comex completed the public inquiries. Certainly they have had enough time to get this done, Covid or no Covid.
Also, if the company were at all uncertain about receiving the permits, I don't think they will be so adamant about receiving it before they make any deals or off takes. It would seem to me that if they were unsure about receiving the permit, they would do their best to pump up the share price with MOUs, tentative agreements and letters of intent so that they could offload a few shares themselves at reasonable prices, however, management seldom sells any shares and they all own them. So comex if you are reading this, and I expect that you are not, please make a recommendation so that the company can move forward, s'il vous plait. Jmho
