RE:Ken Vandervrede - Kalo boss Finally got around to watching this video.
It's a great video about Hillview, the technology (APP), the products and the means by which Hillview has expertly and diligently navigated its way through the building of their brand (even with the difficulty of having to deal with the individual states and their requirements).
I believe the technology is good.
I believe the health and wellness benefits of the technology are good.
I'm sure the products can be good tasting, good for you and an alternative to liquors.
I will be very honest in the fact that if Sproutly had people like Hillview's team in place here in Canada these products would be on the market and working their way towards a very successful position within Canada.
But (and here comes the but), this is not the case in Canada with the direction in which Dr Sen has led this company and I believe it's why investor sentiment is so incredibly low.
Sen has created his own monster in Canada and needs to take responsibility for it. People refer to Sen's financial commitment (loans, borrowings, etc.) but this is not actually true. He has been given millions of dollars for the technology, received tens of millions shares, has loaned money to the company (at high interest rates + secured by company assets). He has "never" bought a company share on the open market with the millions of dollars he has received from the shareholders.
This is incredibly telling of who the man actually is.
If you want people to believe in your company, your technology, yourself and the future viable prospects of the company then you "must show" that willingness.
Unfortunately Sen is only taking and therefore the reason, for people who have invested their hard earned money, to be pissed off feeling they are being used and abused.
Dr Sen may be a very smart man (and his arrogance shows in this respect), a good scientist, has a successful entrepreneurial spirit but he is a lousy businessman and needs to acknowledge this.
Hillview's people believe in the company and are fully vested in the future success of the company, this is extremely obvious.
For a mere $20,000 open market buy (from the millions of $ he has been given) would take out the current bids and I guarantee put a level of support into the stock that has been seen in years.
This would say to the shareholders "I believe, I care for my shareholders and I'm looking forward to the company's success, together"
