Zn now more Valuable than AgWith the recent jump in Zn prices to over $1.80/lb it has now become more valuable than the silver content in the resource. Looking at the Measured and Indicated category we now have Zn worth $11.4B US ( 6.13B lbs x $1.86/lb ) compared to $8.8B US dollars for Ag ( 344M oz x $25.6/oz ) at today's prices. Or on a percentage basis I calculated the following dollar value of each metal:
Ag $8.8B 34%
Zn $11.4B 44%
Au $2.0B 8%
Pb $3.8B 14%
With higher Zn prices the NPV of Cordero jumps significantly higher than previously reported in the PEA. Conclusion - DSV is significantly undervalued at present metal prices. Imho Majors will be eyeing this as a juicy takeover target in the not too distant future.
