Huh?I'm not at all surprised that the staff was intentionally misinformed, but in Ontario company directors will be held personally responsible for unpaid wages and benefits. If the Straight is still making payroll, it's because Manos and DD are justifiably frightened of Charlie Smith. But Manos and DD are not especially wealthy, and having to dig into their pockets for litigation over salary and severance will be unpleasant.
