I have had 4 major postions in the last 5 years....2.... I exited with high gain. Trevali I am waiting on and the other I am not down but waiting on as well.
I do commodoties exclusively....No facebooks, etc....
So far my sucessful as far outweighed my losses, but everyone has their won method and I would likely have done better following your strategy..concerning TV.

But 15 years ago I tried a bit of that (trading).....and missed the run up when it happened (was out at the wrong time)...so I became a buy and hold guy and never looked back.
