RE:RE:Scary

RE:RE:ScaryFirstworld, I totally disagree that oil will collapse if RU gas supply is stopped.

However, your take on the history in the Ukraine seems to hold some truth to it, and the west's past actions and involvement there have had a lot to blame for the situation we are in.

I must first say that my grandparents were Ukranian, and fled from the Russians to homestead in Alberta almost a hundred years ago to escape the slaughter, so to change my opinion regarding the justification of Russian aggression is not done easily. I am not a conspiracy theorist, and far from it, but as a self thinkier, I need to listen to points that do not agree with my current opinions adn challenge my preconceptions.

The news we see and more importantly what we do not see is filtered, refined, and reaches us only if it fits the narrative being played. The first casualty of war is the truth, and we can expect for certain that we are being played with. Can we really believe Putin has become a madman as is reported, and through his quest for glory and empire, is targeting civillians, and destroying the Russian economy at teh same time? Surely there must be more to it than that. It doesn't make sense.

I have been searching for information and facts from the other side, and it has been quite hard to get with news blackouts. I did however find a couple good sources on Youtube, that is changing my opinion and at least for me, to start to dig more and accept that there is a lot more to the story going on than we are led to believe. I don't have the full picture yet, and would welcome any more honest news sources anyone can share.

Interesting to find out that the Ukrainians have been shelling the civilian populations of the breakaway regions for at least 8 years now, like an evil occupation force, killing thousands. Also, they are even more guilty with further targeted shelling of the populations they left behind them in villiages as they retreated. The DPR army have been welcomed as saviors by these newly liberated people, and it seems a return back to Ukraine rule would be a very bad thing for everyone there.

It seems to me the Russians are fighting carefully with one hand behind their back, avoiding the usual large scale air attacks and bombardments normally preceding an invasion (Iraq1, Iraq2, Afghanistan, Syria, Bosnia), and are going forward slowly to limit civilian casualties. Compared with most other wars, there has been no use of overwhelming air power, or mass artillery shelling of cities and civilians. Fighting has for the most part been in the areas around population centers. We must realize though, war is hell, and our media will portray the snippets of those instances that are bound to occur in such hell, and fit in nicely with the narrative.

Check out this guys channel, Patrick Lancaster. He's a bit of an odd self crowd funded bumbling reporter, but you can see what it is like behind the lines in the newly liberated regions following along with the DPR army. I like it as it is raw, unedited, unrefined, and personal. For interviews, set your Youtube settings to Autotranslate on the closed captioning. Search for his most recent videos. Here's one:

For a good recent history lesson in the Ukraine, another good Youtube source is from a couple recent interviews with Scott Ritter, former UN Weapons Inspector in Iran, former US Marine Corps Intelligence, etc. He calls out the fake news we have been seeing, and gives his more beleivable take on what has really happened.  I found the parts of history he describes accurate, interesting, viable, and yet unknown to me, as it was not what western governments and media wants us to know. Fast forward to Scott whenever the useless interviewer is speaking.

I would welcome it if anyone would share any more links that they have to other good news sources they have found.

Cheers

Any donations to UA will get stolen - UA has a well earned repution for fraud, thieving, generally ripping everyone off....maybe that's why Canadians love them so much very much the same LOL. This will be over soon seems as thought RU has taken out the entire UA air force in just a few days, will wipe out the military airports with their 8000 kph missiles, and will himd down the Nazis and war criminals who killed tens of thousands in eastern UA ethnic cleansing last 8 years. Interesting to see the west take paged from Hitlers book by hunting Jewish riches down and siezing all their assets ...scary stuff... Oil will collapse soon when RU turns off gas to EU the EU will collapse a long with demand.
