RE:RE:RE:RE:Report okCovid continues its decline and high energy prices will be offset by pent up travel demand. Flying still has obstacles in place but driving is still the easiest travel option there is for those that hunger to get out of dodge.
What might take a hit are gas hogging RVs and boating that everyone bought during the depths of the pandemic. Next to the kitchen at home, the car is the heart of an American lifestyle on the road and isn't on any death bed. The trend remains UP.

I don't think higher fuel costs will reduce travel in general, I think people will be more inclined to travel closer to where they live.
If you think about it, even at double the cost, the fuel costs are still a fraction of the total travel costs, compared to lodging, dining, etc.
