RE:RE:RE:FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACESAnd for anyone who doesn't think this is now a harsh reality, look no further than places like Dollarama, which do well in tough times. The pot industry hasn't been around long enough to have him through difficult economic times, as if they weren't struggling already. There were always going to be winners and losers. A freakish economy will only speed up the process. Unfortunately, it looks like Canopy has misread the market again, focusing on the high cost craft market. Their lack of vision, subsequent missteps , out of control quarterly spending, and now new disastrous economic realities, all combine to what will be Canopy's death rattle. It won't be long now.

The other unknown is how many people will start switching back to black market to save some dollars. It might not be their first choice, but people will do whatever they have to, to lessen the impact of this wild inflation and now stratospheric gas prices piling in on top of it.

id rather eat rice and keep smoking weed. But thats just me. I might have to agree with you on this one. Inflation will start taking a toll on peoples freedom to do other things that just arent neccessary. And even though im a canopy investor i dont go to tokyo smoke , i go to value buds and get an ounce for 130. Too cheap and good not too, even when my buddy sells 180 ounces to me as a favour. Its still too much.We take things for granted dont we people? Goodluck to everyone, canopy WILL be a succesful company one day.
