There is no sales staff, just two useless old timers that have been there for decades protected by the union. They aren't selling anything new, simply renewing what they had but the advertisers started leaving once MC took over. They had been loyal to Michael and Alice but not MC. Staff were set to strike and sent an email Thursday March 12 2020 to sign up for the picketing schedule to start on Monday March 16th Kirk hoped they would strike and he could break the union and hire some new staff but then the world shut down. Kirk was very slow to pivot. He brought back the sex ads to generate some income and they get some from programmatic but that's it. He tried to hire new sales staff under MC and pay them in shares promising BIG things were coming! No one believed him.
