US steam (power) coal looking to be exported somehow

US steam (power) coal looking to be exported somehowWhy convert  US coal  to US electricity when you can get 4X the price if you find a way to export it.

US coal ports must be busy (and looking for ways to get busier) one would think.

Any rational (profit seeking) US power company would try to export they coal the they bought
cheap ($90/ton or less).

Seaboure coal price is about $370 /ton - (Russia and Ukraine are large exporters).

There sould be less coal for US power plants going forward unless high export prices resoleved.
(i.e. more natural gas used to make electricty in US)
