RE:RE:RE:Lack of trust

RE:RE:RE:Lack of trust@ Luckyeleven - The argument that the "Fund" is trying to manipulate the price of BBD is a bunch of nonsense imo.  ESG is what is important to the "Fund."

Consider Russia right now.  330 foreign companies are pulling out of Russia because they don't want to risk a backlash by being on the wrong side of public opinion.  McDonald's reputation is more important to the company than their hamburger market in Russia and like minded companies are doing the same with their goods and services.

And that's what the "Fund's" council is about.  Assessing the ESG  risk associated with companies that the "fund" is invested in - or is considering investing in.  The "Fund" doesn't want ESG risk coming back to bite them.

To date the council has not made a recommendation for the "Fund" to sell BBD and imho I don't think there's much there unless new revelations come to light.

But the notion that the "Fund" is doing a Jessie Smollett to push down BBD's share price so that it can buy more shares at a cheaper price??   No, I don't think so.  Laughable.
