Alternate Symbol(s):  ZPTAF | T.SGY.DB.B

Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

RE:I am IN !!!

RE:I am IN !!!Just listened to the Shubham Twitter interview / Q&A with Paul and Jerod of Surge and it really resonated. Two of the 4 best economic plays in Canada, second best  valuation metrics in the space and some excellent insights into not just the company but the industry and even gives props to their top competitors. His well informed perspective of the future of crude was fact based and logical. I'm more excited about the company now than after I had completed my analysis and took a position less than a month ago. It's investing, there are always risks ( how many sure things have really gone according to plan?lol) but if you like to measure downside probabilities against potential, then Surge likely looks outstanding to you. Addresses debt, valuations, hedges, return of capital, capex strategies and a myriad of other topics. Great stuff
