Alternate Symbol(s):  CPCPF

CopperCorp Resources Inc. is a Canada-based exploration company. It is focused on the exploration and development of its Skyline, AMC, and Whisky Creek copper-gold- rare-earth elements (REE) projects in western Tasmania. The Skyline project comprises five 100%-owned exploration licenses covering a combined area of approximately 569 square kilometers. Its land holding in western Tasmania totals 1,878 square kilometers. The Skyline Project area is a highly prospective for IOCG and rare earth element deposits. The AMC Project is located in West Tasmania and consists of mineral tenements totaling 1066 square kilometers. The principal target metal, copper, is hosted in what are probably iron oxide-copper-gold (IOCG) style deposits which are common in Australia. The AMC Project includes Alpine Prospect and Japser Hills Prospect. The Razorback prospect covers approximately 171 square kilometers and has identified three high-priority exploration target areas: Jukes, Hyde and Darwin zones.

$CPER and Tasmania

$CPER and TasmaniaCheck out this short video on $CPER's twitter highlighting the case for mining in Tasmania. Twitter link

Summary:
  • 150 years of mining history
  • powered by 100% renewable energy
  • 60% of exports derived from mining
  • Government exploration incentives
  • local support
  • Established mining jurisdiction, infrastructure, and skilled work force
I like the Alpine project in particular as the 30+ km of strike is relatively untested. Tasmania is a great mining jurisdiction and is located only 10 km from the giant Savage River magnetite mine. $CPER.v is hovering around the $0.46 mark so I'll be watching this one closely throughout the week.
